#Day8 & #Day9 From Brainstorming to Youthpass Ceremony: A journey of creativity, learning and friendship

This morning we slept very late until a few minutes before 11!! Big shock! Then we had a lot of things planned for this day since the morning! We had a brainstorming session about advertising for our businesses. We started generating ideas for a promotional video for the businesses and an explanation about Oscar Night in the context of the Erasmus+ project. Then each group began to create their future advertisements.

In the night we have presented the advertising videos each business team filmed to promote their product/service. For these short films there were Oscar nominations for best sound, best editor, best director, best male actor, best female actress, most creative, best movie.

Congratulations to all the teams and each and every one of us! 🎉🏆

The next day, during the first session we talked about the 8 key competences. First of all, the facilitators explained to us the competences and then we discussed about what we learned and on what categories should we put it.

In session 2 we discussed how our dissemination plan, the way how we will let people know about this amazing project.

It seems like our big adventure is on its way to finish, in fact we already had the most emotional session of the whole project. We threw our bad emotions in the trash can here in Predeal, but we also took something for ourselves to bring it home.

We are all very sad to leave this place, but I'm 100% sure that our luggage's are way more heavier than when we arrived. We had the possibility to fill it with new friends, memories and skills.

We are gonna miss you all. 💚

#Day6&#Day7 Building Businesses and Celebrating Cultures

We spent the past two days developing our business ideas.
On our sixth day, we worked hard on presentations all day long. Each team came up with great ideas, and everyone did an amazing job preparing their speeches. We can tell our projects are going to be fantastic once they're finished.

In the evening we had a wonderful cultural night! Bulgaria and Spain showed us their fantastic countries with some nice videos explaining the main places of each one.

After that, we tried some delicious Bulgarian typical food with tomato sauce and cheese and we also had the opportunity to eat Spanish cheese an ham! For the final touch, the whole group celebrated Spanish new year’s eve and then the music from both countries started.

The next day we worked hard in order to develop our businesses plans further.
Next task was to talk about the budget, expenses, incomes and also to develop the advertisement side.
At night, we enjoyed Greece and Turkish Night. We watched Greeks and Turkish dance together, showing how close they are as friends.

#Day5 Exploring Legends and History: A Day in Transylvania

Our day kicked off at Bran Castle, the birthplace of the Dracula legend. We marveled at the picturesque park surrounding the castle and explored its historic walls.

The adventure continued with a visit to Brasov, a charming city with a rich history. While there, we uncovered the tragic tale of the little boy of the Black Church, who met an unfortunate fate at the hands of his own jealous teacher and was pushed off the roof in a shocking incident.

But our exploration didn't end there! We sought out the narrowest spots in Brasov, soaking in the unique charm of the city. To cap off our day, we indulged in the delights of a traditional Romanian bakery.

#Day3&#Day4 From Erasmus+ to Business Plans: An Entrepreneurial Adventure

Third day, we started outside with horse riding. We hadn't expected that activity could be so much fun! When it was enough, we moved inside and worked in groups, and guess what? 😮 Now we all know the difference between a youth exchange, a training course and we just discovered that we can participate in volunteering through the European Union.

With the newfound energy from the outdoor activity, we moved on and started the presentations about the youth entrepreneurship situation by countries.

Country presentations:

1. Romania

2. Türkiye

3. Spain

4. Poland

5. Italy

6. Greece

7. Bulgaria

In the evening, we had Karaoke Night and sang songs from different cultures. We had a really good time, and we also found our same favorite songs. We closed the night with a new game called Ninja; this experience brought us even closer to each other!

In the morning, we started with business talks about personal experiences. Thanks to Adrian, Arif, Gregory, Pavel and Raza for sharing their knowledge and backgrounds, business plans and ideas and also for answering our questions. The great thing about the session was not only the objective entrepreneurial information but also the insight into the life stories and goals of every single one of them!

Next, we had very interesting speeches about businesses owned by participants from our project. They explained how they got the idea, what was most important and how their business has been going until now. That showed us the pros and cons of business.

The last session of the day was about creating, by teams, the concept, design and the whole idea of a business. 📈 At the end of the session, we received the blouses with the project name and discussed the next day trip.

In the evening, it was time for Poland and Italy cultural night! - a delightful journey into the rich cultural heritage of these two nations.

#Day2 Strength in Diversity: Achieving Together, Inspiring Each Other

Today, we were assigned 18 activities to complete together as a group. We organized ourselves and decided to divide the tasks according to everyone's abilities. Leveraging each person's unique talents and interests, we successfully completed all the activities. Despite attempting to determine the most enjoyable activity, we found that everything was incredibly fun! It appears that the mission is not impossible for us at all.

In the second session of this beautiful day, we had to check the results of our hard team work with the 'Mission Impossible' challenge. Surprisingly, we managed to accomplish all the tasks in good time and with a lot of fun. We transformed it into the 'Mission Possible'!

During the third session, we had the pleasure of meeting Moyra, a young businesswoman from Alaska. She shared insights into her jewelry brand, the "Ice Queen," recounting her journey from studying political sciences to the art of crafting handmade jewelry inspired by Alaskan culture. Moyra also discussed the challenges she faced along the way. A big thank you to Moyra for inspiring us to transform our passions into viable businesses!

We concluded the day with the Romanian Cultural Night. We dance, we played, we ate, we had a lot of fun. What a beautiful night! ❤

#Day1 Building Bonds: Chronicles of Our Youth Exchange Journey

On November 10, we kicked off our first meeting by breaking the ice in an incredibly creative way. We started by introducing ourselves and sharing something unique about each person. Not stopping there, we played some fun "ball games" to help us remember everyone's names. Later on, we switched up our approach, continuously refining our recall abilities. As the session drew to a close, we eagerly took on the challenge of remembering as many names as possible. In the end, one participant emerged victorious, successfully recalling an impressive total of 38 names.

For the second session, we were tasked with constructing a tower using limited supplies, aiming for both height and stability, within seven randomly assigned groups. This exercise revealed that certain individuals assumed leadership roles in some groups, while in others, a leader did not emerge. In both scenarios, everyone performed admirably, considering that we had just met. Each tower exhibited a distinct style, showcasing our collective creativity and differences.

The third session commenced outdoors with an energizer. Despite the chilly weather, the experience of getting fresh air was refreshing. Upon returning indoors, we engaged in discussions about our expectations, contributions and fears regarding the youth exchange. Additionally, we established three agreements:

  1. Bora-bora
  2. Tornado
  3. Lion by day, Lion by night.

Towards the end of the session, we divided into four groups for "my business diary."

The concluding activity for the day was the NGO Fair, where participants from partner NGOs exchanged valuable information about their organizations and shared their experiences in the realms of youth engagement in innovation, local businesses and startup ideas.
