"I had a great time in Romania at an Erasmus+ project NextGen: EmployAbility.
We learned how to prepare for job interwiews, create our CVs, how to work in teams and had some great workshops. But most importantly we met many new people and fun.
Big thanks to Initiative Sociale for hosting us and to Mladoevropani z.s. for choosing me for this project." - Tomáš Sedláček
"How else could I celebrate my first week of unemployment if not by joining an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange about employability? 🇷🇴🇪🇺
The NextGen: EmployAbility project, hosted by Initiative Sociale in Vatra Dornei, Romania, successfully brought together 45 young people and 7 group leaders from seven different European countries. Over the course of the exchange, we explored innovative and inclusive solutions to youth unemployment, while developing essential skills such as teamwork, communication, adaptability, and critical thinking through non-formal education. Young people were able to share insights and reflect on employment challenges and trends in their respective countries. The natural beauty of the mountainous surroundings offered an ideal environment for personal growth, teamwork, and intercultural learning. The outcomes of NextGen: EmployAbility will continue to resonate in the participants’ communities, inspiring further initiatives for youth empowerment and inclusion across Europe. (but also we had a looot of fun! 😃)" - Wiktor Żełudkowski
"I went to Romania and it was nice. 🇹🇩
I didn't see any bear but we learned a lot of stuff about Employability - how to prepare for interview, how to create video CV, how different countries tackle the problem of youth unemployability and much more.
That and much much more was a project NextGen: EmployAbility in Vatra Dornei between 2. and 12. 6. 2025, organized by Initiative Sociale
Thank you Mladoevropani z.s. for choosing me as a team leader for this project, the Czech team for their hard work, not only during the project but also in our free time, and all the young (or less young) people who helped to create the great atmosphere during this project.
Last but not least thank you Adrian Oprică and Lexi Ionescu for your patience, friendly approach, great facilitating skills and gossip box! Thank you Ana Munteanu for being less annoying with the paperwork than expected 🙂" - Matěj Valenta
