Dissemination of NextGen: EmployAbility (participants from Czech Republic)

"I had a great time in Romania at an Erasmus+ project NextGen: EmployAbility.

We learned how to prepare for job interwiews, create our CVs, how to work in teams and had some great workshops. But most importantly we met many new people and fun.

Big thanks to Initiative Sociale for hosting us and to Mladoevropani z.s. for choosing me for this project." - Tomáš Sedláček

"How else could I celebrate my first week of unemployment if not by joining an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange about employability? 🇷🇴🇪🇺

The NextGen: EmployAbility project, hosted by Initiative Sociale in Vatra Dornei, Romania, successfully brought together 45 young people and 7 group leaders from seven different European countries. Over the course of the exchange, we explored innovative and inclusive solutions to youth unemployment, while developing essential skills such as teamwork, communication, adaptability, and critical thinking through non-formal education. Young people were able to share insights and reflect on employment challenges and trends in their respective countries. The natural beauty of the mountainous surroundings offered an ideal environment for personal growth, teamwork, and intercultural learning. The outcomes of NextGen: EmployAbility will continue to resonate in the participants’ communities, inspiring further initiatives for youth empowerment and inclusion across Europe. (but also we had a looot of fun! 😃)" - Wiktor Żełudkowski

"I went to Romania and it was nice. 🇹🇩

I didn't see any bear but we learned a lot of stuff about Employability - how to prepare for interview, how to create video CV, how different countries tackle the problem of youth unemployability and much more.

That and much much more was a project NextGen: EmployAbility in Vatra Dornei between 2. and 12. 6. 2025, organized by Initiative Sociale

Thank you Mladoevropani z.s. for choosing me as a team leader for this project, the Czech team for their hard work, not only during the project but also in our free time, and all the young (or less young) people who helped to create the great atmosphere during this project.

Last but not least thank you Adrian Oprică and Lexi Ionescu for your patience, friendly approach, great facilitating skills and gossip box! Thank you Ana Munteanu for being less annoying with the paperwork than expected 🙂" - Matěj Valenta

"I recently had the chance to take part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange NextGen: EmployAbility in beautiful Vatra Dornei, Romania 🇷🇴 and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

Together with young people from 7 different European countries, we explored topics like youth unemployment, job market challenges, and personal development. Through workshops, group discussions, and creative activities (like making a video CV or simulating job interviews), I gained valuable skills that will definitely help me in my future career — from communication and teamwork to adaptability and self-confidence.

What made this experience truly special were not just the learning sessions, but also the cultural evenings, deep conversations, and the friendships that formed along the way. Living and learning together surrounded by nature for 10 days really pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible.

A big thank you to Initiative Sociale for organizing such a impactful project and to Mladoevropani z.s. for making my participation possible<3" - Anna Homolková

"Survived 10 days in Romania with a bunch of strangers from all over Europe — and somehow ended up learning a lot, making friends and having a good time 🍻

That was Erasmus+ project NextGen: EmployAbility which took place from June 2nd to 12th. 🇷🇴✨
The main topic was employability, so we focused on how to prepare ourselves for the job market. We learned how to create video CVs, practiced teamwork, and joined different workshops that helped us develop both personal and professional skills.

We managed to:
✅️ bond over weird national snacks
✅ survive dance moves at intercultural nights
✅️ actually learn something new

Thanks to the host organization @Initiative Sociale for making everything run so smoothly and creating such a welcoming space for us. And also big thanks to my sending organization @Mladoevropani for giving me the opportunity to join this experience." - Lenka Goldová
